I took a week off last week to get all my schooling in order because it is my last semester EVER! (well at Brock University at least, lol) But this week I’m back and want to share with you a new book one of my twitter friends (KristieMJM) introduced me too. Some of you or most of you probably already know about this gem, but if not let me know what you think!

Dante Walker is flippin’ awesome, and he knows it. His good looks, killer charm, and stellar confidence has made him one of hell’s best—a soul collector. Sealing souls is nothing personal. Dante’s an equal opportunity collector and doesn’t want it any other way. But he’ll have to adjust, because Boss Man has given him a new assignment:

Collect Charlie Cooper’s soul within 10 days.

Dante doesn’t know why Boss Man wants Charlie, nor does he care. This assignment means only one thing to him, and that’s a permanent ticket out of hell. But after Dante meets the quirky, Nerd Alert chick he’s come to collect—he realizes this assignment will test his abilities as a collector, and uncover emotions deeply buried.

OK! Lets just get this right out of the way; HELLO DANTE (; Bad boy with attitude, the looks, and perhaps a heart? That mixture right there is already a win in my books, and I haven’t even been able to process the storyline or concepts yet! I think my brain is fried from the pure smexy going on, on that cover. Nonetheless I will try my best not to get distracted; the storyline seems to fit the character to a “T”. He is cocky, and knows it and revels in the fact everyone probably drops at his feet because of it, but perhaps Dante has met his match with the “Nerd Alert” chick, Charlie. I love the use of “nerd alert” in the synopsis; this story seems to sing to my inner book nerd/nerd overall, and I cannot wait to dive into Scott’s world she created! I also like the fact that from this synopsis it seems that these “collectors” or bad guys (or demons – I’m not entirely sure what they are so I’ll have to just wait ) are unique, they’re soul collectors and the only one’s I’ve read about are good (or female) so I am really excited to see how the lore, and creativity plays out in the plot. So, will this be making your “to-read” pile in the future?
