His name is Koldo. He is scarred, powerful, his control legendary-and he lives only for vengeance, determined to punish the angel who viciously removed his wings. But if he yields to the forces of hatred, he will be kicked from the heavens, eternally damned.
She is his last hope. Nicola Lane was born with a defective heart, yet this fragile human shows surprising strength as demons stalk her every move, determined to end her. She is the key to Koldo’s deliverance…and his downfall. Though he fights duty, destiny and his first addictive taste of desire, his toughest battle will be the one for Nicola’s life-even if he has to sacrifice his own
Alright ladies – this series is a MUST read! Gena Showalter has delivered us the “Lords of the Underworld” and her new set of hottie well, they are heavenly! The “Angels of the Dark” first off these boys have some serious bad boy attitudes, and the rap sheets to go with it but even they deserve love. The first book “Wicked Nights” was about their leader in arms, Zacharel. Now though, the second instalment is about Koldo, who in comparison to any other PNR character would have to remind me of Zsadist by JR Ward. An angel without his wings, and the only thing on his mind, vengeance. BUT with all his scars and control, one woman can get through his control and see him for what he truly is – an angel.
GOSH! I cannot get enough of these books, Gena Showalter has opened up an entirely new world of paranormal romance for me, and I am over the MOON excited for the second book in the Angels of the Dark series. Koldo reminds me so much of Zsadist, and I cannot wait to read is story – even though it will probably break my heart to read of his pain. ALRIGHT lets get onto that cover phew *fans self* well if that isn’t a steamy scene I don’t know what is! You can easily see Zoldo’s scars on his back but he one fine specimen of Angel
I also enjoy the pair of dark wings behind the title giving the entire book a darker theme for this steamy read.

I love Gena Showalter! I haven’t read a book of hers in a while, but I used to tear through them every time a new one was released. I think it’s a habit I may have to pick back up! : )
